Mod Post!

As I am sure many people are aware, the mods of this community have basically been entirely absent. I myself have been busy, but I didn't feel right adding more mods because I didn't create this community, I'm only a co-mod myself. However, since I have not heard from rikku_aeris in a very long time, I've decided to take the community into my own hands and fix it up.

First major change is that I opened membership. I am tired of rejecting people just because they join the community instead of just watching. Now you must apply for posting access instead. This will be much easier.

Second change is that from now on, it would be awesome if people tagged their entries by which Final Fantasy games they've included in their icon post. This makes it easier on members to find icons from their favorite FFs. It's not a big deal if you forget to do this, since I know not very many icon communities like this have tags. I'll try to tag posts that people forget to tag, but I might miss some so do try to tag your own.

And third, I am looking for three co-mods. Basically all this entails is tagging posts, and keeping up with the judging post and giving posting access to those you approve. You must be able to say no to people in the judging post if you feel that they need to improve more. It would also be helpful if you provide a friendly critique if you do reject people, so that they know what to improve upon. If you would like to become a co-mod, please apply in this post! Just tell me why you want to be a mod and if you have any past modding experience of any kind.

Finally, I've deleted the previous judging post, so if you applied in the past for posting access and were not accepted or received no reply, please reapply (I will post a new judging post after this entry). I didn't think it would be fair to judge people based on old icons.

EDIT: All previous entries have been tagged now.

If we were previously accepted, are we still in, or do we have to reapply?

You don't have to reapply. You're still in!
